After a great pre-mission week in Rio & São Paulo, our BFTA pre-mission team is back in Brussels, full of energy and ready for the final countdown before the BEM BRAZIL.

Today the Belgian Foreign Trade pre-mission team is leaving Rio de Janeiro to go to Sao Paulo to continue its site inspection for the upcoming Belgian Economic Mission to Brazil!

To prepare the upcoming Belgian Economic Mission to Brazil, the Belgian Foreign Trade Agency’s team is currently in Rio, to organise the final details on site together with the Embassy of Belgium in Brazil, the the FPS Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation and the regional foreign trade institutions: Flanders Investment & Trade (FIT), the Wallonia Export-Investment Agency (AWEX) and hub.brussels. Teamwork!

The website of the Belgian Economic Mission to Norway is now closed, the app will still be available for a while longer #BEmissionNOR. The next Belgian Economic Mission will be heading to Brazil from 22 November until 1 December 2024 #BEmissionBRA.

In 2023, Belgium was the 12th largest exporter of goods in the world and the 14th largest importer.

#BEmissionNOR (16-19/06) - DAY 3 – To kick-start the third and final day of the Belgian Economic Mission to Norway, the traditional Success Stories Breakfast was organised, which allowed Belgian SMEs and their Norwegian partners to share their successful partnership with HRH Princess Astrid and the Ministers.
