The Support Committee coordinates the implementation of the decisions of the Board of Directors.

Fabienne L’Hoost, the Director General - or in case of her absence the Deputy Director General - chairs this Support Committee. Currently, the Belgian Foreign Trade Agency does not have a Deputy Director General.

The CEOs of the Regional Agencies: Flanders Investment & Trade (Piet Demunter), AWEX (Pascale Delcomminette) & hub.brussels (Isabelle Grippa), and the Director General for Bilateral Affairs of the FPS Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation (Birgit Stevens) are also members of this committee. Since 16 April 2025, Deputy Chief of Cabinet of the Office of the Minister of Defence and Foreign Trade, Theo Francken (Karel-Jan Senave) also attends the meetings of the Support Committee.
