BEmissionIND 🇧🇪 🇮🇳 - DAY 5: Thursday 6 March - The second day in Mumbai started with an important visit of the Proton Therapy Center at Tata Memorial Center ACTREC, the Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer where about 8000 patients are treated every year.

#BEmissionIND 🇧🇪 🇮🇳 - DAY 4: Wednesday 5 March - The 4th day of the mission, the delegation woke up in the vibrant city of Mumbai. This first day in Mumbai started with a visit to Route Mobile Limited, an Indian leader in communication services acquired by Proximus in 2024, where HRH Princess Astrid and Ministers attended a tech Forum organised by hub.brussels.

#BEmissionIND 🇧🇪 🇮🇳 - DAY 3: Tuesday 4 March - The third day began at the Travancore Palace with a roundtable on the Defence Sector, attended by several representatives from the Indian Ministry of Defence and where HE Theo Francken, Minister of Defence, addressed the public while Colonel KV Kuber, Director Aerospace and Defence, EY, took the role of Master of Ceremony.

#BEmissionIND 🇧🇪 🇮🇳 - DAY 2: Monday 3 March - The second day of the Belgian Economic Mission to India began with a seminar on Water & Waste Management Solutions for a Climate-Resilient World, organized by Flanders Investment & Trade at the historical Travancore Palace in New Delhi.

#BEmissionIND 🇧🇪 🇮🇳 - DAY 1 - After two days of overcast skies, the sun finally made its appearance in New Delhi on the first day of the mission! In the morning, HRH Princess Astrid and the ministers met with HE Hervé Delphin, the Ambassador of the EU to India. Following this insightful meeting, HRH Princess Astrid, the ministers, and part of the delegation travelled to the Uttar Pradesh state to visit the Agristo Masa Production Facility.

Yesterday, our colleague Katrien Van Loocke, had the pleasure of giving a masterclass on Incoterms® 2020 and International Sales Contracts to the enthusiastic students of the VUB Trade Mission.

To prepare the upcoming Belgian Economic Mission to India 🇧🇪 🇮🇳, the Belgian Foreign Trade Agency’s team is already in India, to organise the final details on site, together with the Embassy of Belgium in New Delhi, the Consulate General of Belgium in Mumbai, the FPS Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation and the regional foreign trade institutions: Flanders Investment & Trade (FIT), the Wallonia Export-Investment Agency (AWEX) and hub.brussels. Teamwork!

On 11 February 2025, the briefing of the Belgian Economic Mission to India 🇧🇪 🇮🇳, was held in the BNP PARIBAS Auditorium in Brussels, in the presence of HRH Princess Astrid!

#BEmissionIND - Both our bilateral trade note (in English) and the economic study of India (in French and Dutch) have been published!

In exaclty 1 month, a high-level economic mission led by HRH Princess Astrid of Belgium will head to India from 1 to 8 March 2025 🇧🇪 🇮🇳. The 326 Belgian delegates include 235 leading businessmen and women, 19 academic representatives as well as high-ranking officials of the country.

In the framework of the Belgian economic mission to India 🇧🇪 🇮🇳 in March, the Belgian Foreign Trade Agency conducted an interview with HE SAURABH KUMAR, Ambassador of India to Belgium.

From January 8 to 17, our Belgian Foreign Trade Agency team traveled to Vietnam for the premission.
