On 2 February 2026, Mrs Fabienne L’Hoost, Director General of the Belgian Foreign Trade Agency (BFTA) had the pleasure of welcoming HE Bill White, Ambassador of the United states in Belgium. He was accompanied by Mr Ira Bel, Commercial Specialist and Mr Liam Sullivan, Deputy Economic Counsellor.
This courtesy visit follows the Belgian Economic Mission to the West Coast of the United States, led by HRH Princess Astrid, which took place from 4 to 12 October 2025 and was a huge success, attracting more than 500 participants.
This visit also aimed to consolidate the friendship and alliance between the United States and Belgium.
