Day 3: Tuesday, 12 May - Another full and insightful day for the Belgian Economic Mission in Türkiye.
The delegation started with a visit to the Central Bank of Türkiye, gaining first‑hand perspectives on the country’s economic outlook.
This was followed by a Belgian–Turkish dialogue on the future of manufacturing, which explored the shift from Industry 4.0 to 5.0 amid global geopolitical changes, before the delegation moved to Istanbul University for a session connecting the Belgian biopharma ecosystem with Türkiye.
The traditional Power Lunch brought participants together for further networking, before closing the day with Ageas and Sabancı Group celebrating their 15 years of strategic partnership in insurance - a strong symbol of long‑term Belgian-Turkish cooperation.
With that, the delegation continued its journey to Ankara for the next chapter of the mission.
