From 16 to 19 June, HRH Princess Astrid will lead a Belgian Economic Mission to Norway. She will be accompanied by HE Hadja Lahbib, Federal Minister of Foreign Affairs; HE Jan Jambon, Minister-President of the Government of Flanders; HE Willy Borsus, Vice-President of the Walloon Government; HE Philippe Henry, Vice-President of the Walloon Government and HE Ans Persoons, State Secretary of the Brussels Capital Region, responsible for Foreign Trade.
This mission is organised by the Belgian Foreign Trade Agency in collaboration with the Embassy of Belgium in Norway and Iceland, the FPS Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation and the regional foreign trade institutions: Flanders Investment & Trade (FIT), the Wallonia Export-Investment Agency (AWEX) and hub.brussels, and will focus on Energy Transition, Circular Economy and Life Sciences.
The mission will consist of 450 participants. No less than 201 companies will be represented by 301 business people. In addition, 40 academics will represent 17 higher education institutions. Finally, 17 federations and chambers of commerce will be represented by 25 participants.
