In exaclty 1 month, a high-level economic mission led by HRH Princess Astrid of Belgium will head for Brazil from 22 November to 1 December 2024 🇧🇪 🇧🇷. Senior Belgian Ministers will accompany the Princess. The 400-strong Belgian delegation includes 300 leading businessmen, 23 academic representatives as well as high ranking officials of the country.
The delegation will visit Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. Official meetings with the Governors of both States are on the agenda. Sustainable agriculture, industrial bioeconomy, port development, sustainable trade in food and drinks, energy transition, climate and health are the main focuses of the mission. It is expected that major business agreements and MoU will be signed during the mission or result from it. Trade relations between Brazil and Belgium will undoubtedly be given a strong boost thanks to the mission.
